A valid driving licence relevant to the vehicle category is required, along with identification and proof of your current address. Payment information and a security deposit must also be provided, alongside any other stipulations outlined in the Rental Agreement.

Booking and Payment Process

• Reservations can be arranged via our website, over the phone, or directly at our Winsford office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. The full payment and a security deposit are usually required at the time of vehicle pickup. All pricing is displayed in British Pounds (£) and includes applicable VAT. We accept most major credit and debit cards, with secure processing through trusted payment providers.

Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off

• At the time of collection, please conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle and report any pre-existing damage without delay. A vehicle condition report will be prepared and must be signed by both parties. You remain liable for any damage or loss up to the insurance excess, except when covered by supplementary insurance. Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violation of these Terms remains your responsibility, regardless of insurance coverage.

6. Modifications and Cancellations

Cancellation and amendment policies differ depending on the type of booking and the notice provided. For detailed information, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or missed pick-ups may incur additional charges.

7. Restricted Activities

Prohibited Vehicle Uses

• The vehicle may not be used for illegal activities, including racing, rallying, or off-roading. Transporting hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. Additionally, using the vehicle for purposes for which it is not designed, exceeding passenger or weight limits, or operating outside the agreed geographical areas without proper authorization is not permitted.

Breach of these terms may lead to immediate rental termination and extra fees.

8. Liability Restrictions

To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Winsford disclaims any liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the rental amount paid in the previous 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liabilities for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraud.

9. Local Law Compliance

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
